A journey into the land of juggling
On stage, there are a hundred—maybe two hundred—clubs.
And one man, alone, facing this vast army.
A regular person, like you or me.
He works. He’s always rushing. He rides the subway.
This man believes he’s inhabited by the soul of a Native American.
And so, he dives in—
He builds an animal aura, he murmurs, he howls, he leaps around, giving in to his instincts.
A feline, a reptile—he cries out like a beast,
circles an imaginary fire, long-haired, shirtless, inventing tribal dances.
He becomes those dances—shamanic, raw, vulnerable—
falling into trance, collapsing in total surrender.
COYOTE is an homage to the cultures of all Native Americans.
Unpredictable, intuitive, spontaneous juggling.
